How Can Students See My Feedback in SpeedGrader?

Answer

There are multiple ways to add annotations and comments to student submissions.

Annotations

There are various options in the DocViewer Toolbar:

  • Point: Drop a pin in the submission and add a comment.
  • Highlight text and add a comment.
  • Text: Add comments/corrections directly on the document
  • Strikeout content on the document.

If you have enabled the Manual Posting Policy, students will not see your feedback or comments until you publish their grades.

Students will instead a message such as:

  • Grades are unavailable because the instructor is working on them.
  • You may not see all comments right now because the assignment is currently being graded.
