How do I create a Kaltura video assignment in Canvas?

Instructors can create an assignment in Canvas that links to a Kaltura video quiz.
- Create a new assignment in Canvas with all of the regular requirements – title, points, assignment group, etc.
- Under Submission Type, select External Tool from the drop down menu.
- Click Find next to the URL box.
- Search for the In Video Quiz option and click on the magnifying glass icon.
- From the My Media list, identify the video assignment and click Embed next to the title.
- After you've chosen the video quiz, click Select on the Configure External Tool window.
- Complete the other assignment settings and click Save & Publish. The video quiz will appear embedded in the assignment page.
Refer to the Kaltura Video Quizzes Known Issues page if the assignment does not send a grade to the Canvas gradebook.
